How Shall We Proceed?

To the question, "Why even bother going to church. They all seem so dead."
I will say, "Indeed, you speak of the church of Sardis (Rev. 3)." We have a purpose and this can only be done in the power of the Holy Ghost.
Jesus taught us to pray: "Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done." When we do this, and make the prayer real in our lives, God will use us mightily in any situation we are in. The thing to remember about the churches is, there are some who have not defiled themselves. The Lord's call is to strengthen those who remain (faithful). Many will not listen, but some will.
I left church Sunday, wanting to wretch. The resistance to the Holy Spirit of some who just want to do their good works, be intellectual and believe that is the Lord, just sickened me. I still have to be loving to them. I have to be repentant.
The important thing is, there are some who can be strengthened and can be strong and do exploits.
The eyes of the Lord still run to and fro throughout the earth searching for a people He can show Himself great in. Consider a great investment has been made by Him in you and He expects return with interest.
